“We think of this resource as a one-stop shop for our customers,” explains Bina Omare, head of sustainable communities at Circle.
“It brings together all the services that our employment and skills team offers, so we can look after the different needs of our various job-seekers.”
“We hope it’ll be the first port of call for all those needing a helping hand into the world of work. It’s all part of our mission to improve life chances.”
Circle is providing 40 apprenticeship places over the next year – either within the organisation or with its partners or contractors.
Circle ensures that all its apprentices are paid the national minimum wage, over and above the apprenticeship salary.
The scheme has been so successful that all of its apprentices have stayed on the scheme or have now gone into full-time employment within the Group.
